Specialized Offerings
Acupuncturists are trained in East Asian Medicine and approach each patient as a unique individual. Two people could have identical Western medical diagnoses and yet their experiences in their bodies are entirely unique. Their acupuncture treatments will be formulated to address the underlying imbalances, which vary person to person. When seeing Cailin, patients will discuss their goals, review current and past health, and create a tailored treatment plan.
In her current clinical setting, Cailin offers the following modalities as part of her expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine

“Dry needling” and “Intra Muscular Stimulation” (or IMS) is an acupuncture technique that is also described as Trigger Point acupuncture.

“E-stim” or “micro-current” delivers a low-grade, controlled electrical impulse to acupuncture needles during the treatment session. When deemed appropriate for the condition by the acupuncturist, this modality can strengthen the effect of chosen points. Micro-current can also be used in orthopedic-style acupuncture treatments to engage and regulate muscles.
